Thrifted Thursday // Vintage Painted Dresser

I love a good mid-century dresser. They're just so darn malleable; they can work in a bedroom, a nursery, and office, a living room, a dining room (I could go on). Unfortunately, as more people have realized just how versatile these pieces are, the prices have gone through the roof. What used to be a $50 Goodwill score will now cost you hundreds of dollars at a flea market.

And that's why I picked this painted mid-century Drexel bureau for this week's Thrifted Thursday post. At $175, this is a *great* deal for a piece that's already been rehabbed and is ready to go. It's a great scale, has the original brass hardware and it's made by Drexel (read: incredibly well-made furniture that will last generations).

Go buy it. NOW (it's not going to last).
