Thrifted Thursday // Anthropologie's Tannery Coffee Table

Today's item is for all your readers who've sent me emails requesting items that can be purchased from anywhere. So ... it isn't exactly thrifted. Actually, it's not even vintage (though it's got the look). But it's gorgeous and hand-made and available nation-wide and it might be the deal of the century.

Those pics above are images of the metal and leather  Tannery Coffee Table from from Anthropologie.  Like many things from Anthropologie, it's beautiful. Unlike many things from Anthropologie, it's affordable. Well, it *was* kind of expensive ($698.00) but then they went and put it on super sale. And now it costs just a squeeze under $300 (BONUS: it looks like you might you be able to get an additional 25% off with code EXTRAEXTRA!).

It's a great size for smaller spaces at 30" square, is very family-friendly with that metal top and it's got panache in spades. If you're in the market for a coffee table, this is a great option but it's on clearance so RUN, do not walk, if you're interested. It's not going to last long at this price!

And if you're not in the market for furniture but are looking for a unique item for your home (or for a cool and affordable holiday or hostess gift),  this 11" doe head vase, also from the sale section of Anthropologie, is so endearing, sweet and weird in all the right way ... and at $19.99, it's a total steal.

PS -- If you're not in the market for a coffee table or a vase (or anything from Anthro) but ARE in the market for some beautiful wool textiles woven in America, check out Faribault Woolen Mills' new line for Target; it's incredible (thanks to the ever-fabulous Elements of Style blog for sharing the news yesterday)!
